Banks in Kenya which offer internships to fresh graduates

Kenya has over 40 banks and several micro finance institutions which are legally registered to operate in the country.

The banking sector works in such a way that little information leaks to the public. Even if there are internal job advertisements the information reaches limited number of people.

As a job seeker, especially the fresh graduates, how will you know that a bank has internship opportunities? It’s very hard to know but getting reliable information is always the best idea.

Over the years, we have seen graduates sending lots of applications to various companies in search of internships, it turns out that more than 80 percent of the applicants don’t get a response from the companies, so heartbreaking. I remember my friend trying to drop a CV to one of the companies in Nairobi and immediately he handed over the documents to the secretary, he saw his papers being thrown to the dust bin.He wondered why he spent all his energy applying for a job only to witness his application being treated like garbage.
