Kikuyu is the most popular language in Kenya, spoken by over 5 million people. There are several Kikuyu TV stations in Kenya but a number of them are not listened by even 30 % of the Kikuyu population.
The most popular Kikuyu TV station in Kenya is Inooro, which commands more than 80 % of Kikuyu speaking viewership.
The station, which was launched in 2015, has grown tremendously, beating K24, KBC and other veteran stations.
Inooro is a 24 hour station and it broadcasts in pure Kikuyu and is a sister station to Inooro radio which is popular in Central Kenya.
