AGRIFINANCE COURSE
DATE: 8 – 10 NOVEMEBR 2016
VENUE: CEDARA
COST : R330.00
COURSE CONTENT:
In the world of Agribusiness Sector money makes the wheels of investing in farm businesses to spin around. Well-targeted investment into the Agribusiness sector can assist in the overall improvement of the economic activity of the province and localities. However access to formal financial support for enterprises is not easy. This is because finance institutions set strict criteria for funding. Funding applications may fail because projects are regarded as high risk or because their proposals are not packaged to meet the requirements of finance institutions. This problem is aggravated by the lack of readily available information about financial options for this sector. The goal of this course is to increase the capacity of provincial agribusinesses to meet the everincreasing demands of today’s global agrifinance system. The aim of the AGRIFINANCE program is to expose both the emerging and commercial agribusinesses to the latest thinking in agrifinance strategy, strategic financial planning, financial analysis, human resource management, business negotiation, and other relevant ideas to enhance their competitiveness and promote better business opportunities.
Renowned Provincial-Class facilitators with extensive experience and knowledge provided participants with practical tools and strategies to increase firm profitability, expand employment, and thus also increase incomes in their communities.
