Internship is usually hard to get in Uganda especially for fresh graduates, but there are several companies offer internships for fresh graduates or students awaiting graduation.
One thing to note is that you should look for internship in Uganda as early as possible because there are many desperate graduates looking for the same.
The best companies to look for internships in Uganda are small ones because big companies normally receive several applications from students. Chances of getting internships her is very hard.
The most common companies employing interns in Uganda include NTV Uganda, Innovation for Poverty Action, World Vision, Uganda Rural fund, Royal Danish Embassy, United Nations, National Planning Authority, Uganda Wildlife Authority, Amref Health Africa, and IFAD.
You should be aware that most companies don’t pay interns but some of them, especially NGOs, pay small stipend when interns are assigned duties regarding data collection.
