There are courses in Kenya that are extremely useless, especially if one intend to get employed immediately after colleges. Unfortunately those courses have been in existence for at least 50 years.
Furthermore the same courses are pursued by Kenyans with peculiar habits. But I should caution you in advance to shun some of these courses if you don’t want to be useless after graduation.
Personally, I have interacted with several graduates and what they tell me is simply unbelievable-they are regretting.
The following are courses you should not pursue in Kenya
- Bachelor of Education
- MBA (if you are not employed)
- Bachelor of Anthropology
- Bachelor of Earth Sciences
- Bachelor of Arts General
- Bachelor of Science General
- Cabin Crew and Aviation (it looks attractive lakini haina kazi)
- Political Science
- Theology and Biblical Studies
- Psychology and Counseling
- Sports Science
