Water is the main component of the human body. The body is composed of 60 to 70 percent water, depending on the size of the body. Adequate and regular consumption of water has numerous health benefits. As an advantage, it has no calories, fat, carbohydrates or sugar.

Our daily water intake plays a significant role in maintaining a healthy body. Experts recommend drinking eight glasses of water every day. Water hydrates the body which is vital since multiple cells in the body need water to function properly.

Here are the health benefits of drinking an adequate water:

  1. Water helps reduce fatigue in our bodies: If you often feel tired, there is a high chance that you are not consuming enough water which makes the body function less efficiently. In fact, fatigue is one major sign of dehydration.

Inadequate water in the body means there is also less blood in our bodies which causes the heart to work harder so as to pump oxygenated blood out in the bloodstream, and the other principal organs also do not function as they are supposed to.
