Graduate clerks/Tellers are among the most overworked employees in KCB bank where sometimes they wake up at 3 am and sleep at 10 pm so as to ensure the bank runs smoothly.
Fresh graduates are either recruited as graduate clerks or graduate trainees. Others are employed as Direct Sales Representatives and later promoted to the position of bank tellers.
The starting salary for graduate clerks at KCB Bank is Ksh 55,000-Ksh 65,000 but those who are employed as graduate trainees earn Sh 60,000 as starting salary.
The salaries grow with time and at the end of three years in the bank, an individual can earn not less than Sh 100,000.
