Keele Excellence Scholarship for Undergraduate Programme in UK, 2017

 

Applications are invited for Keele Excellence Scholarship to commence a full-time undergraduate degree course at Keele University in September 2018.

The overarching aim of establishing the Keele University was to transform the public higher education to improve quality and efficiency of teaching and learning, creating a world-class higher learning institution.

Keele will continue to be one of the UK’s leading campus-based University communities. Keele will provide a high-quality educational experience for students shaped by outstanding research, contributing positively to social, environmental and economic agendas locally, nationally and internationally.

In addition to academic qualifications, applicants may be required to produce evidence of their English language ability. This is because, in order to benefit from their studies, they need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English before taking up a place here.

Course Level: Scholarship is available to study undergraduate programme.

Study Subject: Scholarship is awarded to learn any of the courses offered by the university.

Scholarship Award: The Excellence Scholarship is a cash award of £1,000 paid in your first year of study, available to students who attain the highest grades in their pre-entry qualifications, regardless of household income levels.

Eligibility: The following criteria must be met in order for applicants to be eligible for the scholarship:

To receive the Scholarship you must

  • Commence a full-time undergraduate degree course at Keele University in September 2018
  • Be a UK or EU student liable to pay £9,250* tuition fees. (* See details on expected fees hereUK & EU Students – Undergraduate Tuition Fees)

Students with the relevant grades in a mixture of qualifications (for example, two Distinctions in a BTEC qualification and an “A” grade in one A level) could be eligible to receive an Excellence Scholarship.

College Admission Requirement

Entrance Requirements: Applicants must commence a full-time undergraduate degree course at Keele University in September 2018.

English Language Requirements: In addition to academic qualifications, applicants may be required to produce evidence of their English language ability. This is because, in order to benefit from their studies, they need to demonstrate that they have a good level of written and spoken English before taking up a place here. Any offer of the scholarship will be conditional upon applicants meeting the academic and English language requirements for their chosen course as set out in the offer letter.
