Retirement Benefits Scheme Lavy in Uganda

 

Retirement Benefits Scheme Levy is compulsory for companies and individuals administering retirement benefits schemes.

FEES AND COMPULSORY ANNUAL LEVIES
(Under regulation 23(1) of the Uganda Retirement Benefits Regulatory Authority (Licensing of Retirement Benefits Schemes) Regulations, 2012)

2. Licence fees paid by a retirement benefits scheme which receives-
(a) voluntary contributions

250 currency points
3 Compulsory Annual levy paid by a retirement benefits scheme which receives-

(a) voluntary contributions

(b) mandatory contributions

0.025% of the Total Asset Value in the statement of financial position
of the scheme for the previous financial year

0.05% of the Total Asset Value in the statement of financial position
of the scheme for the previous financial year
